چکیده
Vehicular Adhoc Networks (VANETs) are subpart of Mobile Adhoc Network. VANETs are self-organized wireless networks, which are infrastructure less. Due to the high mobility of VANETs and increase the speed of vehicles, the connectivity between vehicles become poor which result in an increase the dropped packets overhead of LSGO routing protocol. LSGO routing protocol is a combination of link state information and geographic location of nodes. LSGO aim to improve the data transmission reliability in high dynamic environment. In this paper, we present the method to reduce the overhead when nodes move out of range. During link failure, source node stop the packet transmission by RERR message send by intermediate node and find another routing path from routing table and again start transmission on new routing path. Keywords— VANET, LSGO, Geographic opportunistic routing .

Abstract Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is a particular type of mobile ad hoc network in which vehicles communicate between themselves using wireless antenna. Due to unique characteristics of VANETs (e.g. high mobility of nodes and dynamic topology), routing is one of the challenging tasks in such networks. Consequently, delay tolerant networks which consider the disconnect nature of...

Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is a research field attracting growing attention. Current routing protocols in VANETs usually use route discovery to forward data packets to the destination. In addition, if vehicle density is low in the network, there might not be vehicles available to deliver the packet. This paper proposes HarpiaGrid, a geography-aware grid-based routing protocol for VANETs. ...

In multi hop wireless networking, Opportunistic data forwarding has drawn much attention, with most research conducted for stationary wireless networks. Opportunistic data forwarding has not been widely utilized in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs),the reason behind this is the lack of an efficient lightweight proactive routing scheme with strong source routing capability. In this paper, proposed...
